CTET Exam

The Central Teacher Eligibility Test CTET exam is conducted once a year to determine the eligibility of candidates for appointment as teachers. The Ministry of Education, Govt. of India has entrusted the responsibility of conducting the CTET to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Delhi. The exam process is open, fair, and transparent, qualifying for Central TET is purely on merit, capability, and sincere preparation through authentic Text Books. They are conducting two papers.

Candidates who plan to teach Classes 1-5 need to give Paper-I and candidates who plan to teach Classes 6-8 need to take Paper II.

CTET Eligibility Conditions

The candidates must satisfy the eligibility criteria to get selected for the selection procedure and this includes minimum age of 17 years with an equivalent secondary or graduates degree (depending on the post applying for) from a recognized institution. Candidates who have already qualified for the test can also give the exam again. Because the certificate is valid only for 7 years. So many students trying to appear after four years to increase the validity of the certificate.

  • Central TET 2022 notification was released by CBSE on the official website of the exam on 20 October.
  • CTET Admit Card 2021-22 will be released on the official website in Mid December 2022.
  • Central TET 2021-22 exam will be held in the month of December 2022 to January 2023. Earlier, the exam was scheduled to be held in two shifts –
    • 9.30 AM-12:00 Noon for paper-I
    • 2.00-4:30 PM for paper-II.
  • The official C TET answer key will be available in a few weeks after the exam on the portal.
  • CTET result 2020 will be released by CBSE within six weeks of the conduct of the test. Candidates can access their result online from the official website by logging with their required credentials.

CTET Syllabus Paper Pattern

According to CBSE, Candidates are advised to refer only authentic Text Books and syllabus suggested by NCTE for preparation in area of education. Paper I and Paper II have Objective Multiple Choice Questions. Central TET Syllabus 2020 is very lengthy.

  • Language is one section that all candidates need to master to crack Central TET 2020.
  • Moreover, Mathematics & Science/Environmental Science are also major sections that a candidate needs to prepare thoroughly to ace CTET Exam 2020.

  • C TET Syllabus Paper II comprises of five papers. In exam there will be total 30 question from every section.

CTET Exam Result

CTET result 2020 will be announced by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) about six weeks after the conduct of the exam. Candidates can check their CTET result on the official website of the exam by logging into their registered accounts with the roll number.

  • Step 1: Visit the official website – ctet.nic.in.
  • Step 2: Click on the result link present at the bottom of the page.
  • Step 3: Enter roll number.
  • Step 4: Click on Submit.
  • Step 5: Download and take print of result.

CTET Certificate

Candidates who are qualified the exam can download and check their Marksheet & Certificate on DigiLocker platform. The mark sheets and eligibility certificates will be digitally signed and will be legally valid as per the IT Act. This year CBSE will not send a certificate in your mailing address So everyone needs to download from Digilocker Account.

The validity period of the Central TET qualifying certificate for appointment will be seven years from the date of declaration of its result for all categories.

Is there any age limit to appear for Central TET exam?

No, there is no age limit to take the exam.

Is there any negative marking in this exam?

There is no negative marking in exam. Candidates are awarded one mark for every correct answer in the exam.

What are the qualifying marks for Central TET exam?

Candidates should score 60 percent or above marks in the exam in order to be considered as C TET pass.

Will I get the job after clearing Central TET exam?

Qualifying Central TET exam does not guarantee job to a candidate. It is only one of the eligibility criteria for employment.

How many times is CBSE conducts this exam?

CBSE conducts this exam twice a year, typically in the months of July and December.
